Sheffield Teaching Hospitals

ePAQ Touchscreen Questionnaire


The original e-PAQ system was designed to assess and diagnose female pelvic floor problems but has been re-engineered into a more generic form to cater for any clinical or other instrument following the e-PAQ approach. The application will automatically adapt the flow through the questionnaire depending on responses given to certain questions, either by skipping sections or individual questions or asking more probing ones.

Contacts database in MS Access with mail out functions to Word and Outlook, and ad hoc queries with results to Word and Excel



Leeds Teaching Hospitals

Child Protection Database


A browser-based application developed using Microsoft .NET technologies and running across the Leeds Teaching Hospitals network, provides screens to manage workflow from referral through to reporting. Clinicians can upload and annotate photographic images to the database made during the examinations as well as perform keyword searches on image tags and reports.

Child Protection Database for the Republic of Maldives


Following on from the successful systems requirements capture Illuminaries were commissioned to carry out in 2007, for a child protection system for the Republic of Maldives; Illuminaries were asked to develop the application in 2009.



South Yorkshire Postgraduate Dental Office

Automatic Booklet Generator


Automatic booklet generator using MS Access and Word. At the click of a button, a customised booklet is created depending of specified parameters. Allows non-technical staff to update generic and booklet specific content easily.



Sheffield Teaching Hospitals

Haemato-Oncology Diagnostic Service


The Haemato-Oncology Diagnostic Service for South Yorkshire is based at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals (STH) and was set up to provide a centralised service within the county for the diagnosis of blood related cancer cases. Biopsy and other samples taken from patients suspected of having a blood related cancer are sent to Sheffield Teaching Hospitals for lab testing. Some samples may be forwarded to Sheffield Childrens’ Hospital (SCH) for further, specialist genetic tests.
