  • Illuminaries director Dr Tony Bennett has been commissioned by UNICEF, to undertake a child protection project in the Republic of Maldives.

  • A new Child Protection Database developed by Illuminaries for Leeds Community Paediatrics is rolled out at St James' and Leeds General Infirmary sites

  • October 2002 - Data Collection is Prime Objective

  • Objective 1 is a European Union investment programme that provides funds to help Europe’s poorest areas to regenerate their economies and create jobs. South Yorkshire is one of those areas with fewer businesses and fewer and less well-paid jobs than other European regions.

  • Amongst other things, the Postgraduate Dental Office in Sheffield (PDO) looks after Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for 2,500 dental practitioners in the South Yorkshire and East Midlands region. With Government measures in place to make CPD mandatory for all dentists, the PDO focussed on its desire to put its systems on a better footing

  • March 2002 - Turning Patient Data into Clinical Information

  • Up to this time, usage statistics supplied by the MRI Unit to the directorates within the Trust were gathered by looking through the appointment book and counting them.

  • May 2001 - Illuminaries develops online ballot box

  • Elections of one sort or another always seem to be in the news.  During the last UK General Election in 2001, Illuminaries were rolling out their first web based voting system for ESPID, the European Society for Paediatric Infectious Diseases.  It proved such a success that Illuminaries have managed ESPID's online election every year since.
